Jupiter, FL –Recently, Andrew Sauchelli, MS, DMD of Jupiter attended the Sleep Disordered Breathing class at The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida. While in Key Biscayne, Dr. Sauchelli took part in an interactive class designed to help dentists develop deeper relationships with patients and learned the most advanced dental techniques.
In this class, Dr. Sauchelli learned how to recognize and treat sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea, which as many as 18 million Americans, or 6% of the nation, suffer from. Fewer than 10% of the people who have it are aware of it. Dr. Sauchelli was able to understand sleep disorders and their treatment, to relieve patients of the serious, even life-threatening, hazards.
